I use creative methods to help you to gently explore your thoughts and feelings and behaviors to understand yourself better.
If you decide you want to make changes in your life, we can work together to identify them, and I will support you as you take those positive steps forward.
I provide a nonjudgmental environment in which you feel you can safely share. I pride myself on being inclusive and enjoy working with people in all their diversities.
I use therapeutic techniques like mindfulness, breathing and meditation to help to increase your healthy coping strategies and to enhance your mental well-being.
We will regularly review our work together and I hope you will feel able to honestly tell me what is working (or not) for you. I have an open-ended time frame and can offer you the number of sessions you feel you need.

If you would like to see my dedicated and private counselling space in Old Glossop I offer a free 30 minute introductory session. In that session we can discuss your reason for thinking about counselling and whether we might be able to work together.
My therapy space is calm and quiet and free from interruptions; however, I know that different people might need sensory or physical adjustments to make them feel comfortable and safe. We can discuss any changes that would meet your needs when we first meet.
The entrance is on one level and accessible, toilet access is via a short flight of stairs.
